About the Swansea Historical Society

The Swansea Historical Society is a non profit organization dedicated to preserving, collecting and researching historical information and items. The society also takes pride in creating ways to help future generations understand their heritage and the history of Swansea.

The Swansea Historical Society was founded January 23^rd, 1941 by Marion Riley. It celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2021!

SHS Monthly Meetings

All meetings will be held at the Swansea Community Center on Sundays at 1:00 pm.Members are welcome. Non-member town residents are also welcome. Non-members cannot vote but are encouraged to voice their opinions.
