Aunt Polly's Press Sugar Cookies

One cup shortening
One cup sugar
Two eggs
Four tablespoons of milk
Two teaspoons of vanilla
Three cups flour
One teaspoon of baking powder
One teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt

Mix in order given.

Bake in a moderate (325 degree) oven for five to eight minutes.
