Miss Dutton was the owner of a farm in Swansea and the author of a 1957 cookbook
"In the late 1920s, Flora E. Dutton had built a small restaurant empire in Providence, but was best known for Miss Dutton's Green Room, a local landmark at 44 Washington St. Her farm in Swansea supplied fresh vegetables. The Simmons College graduate retired in 1956 and died in 1984 at 97."
